It's quite easy to make any law but before making such a law one must consider the social conditioning of society in a country like India we have lots of progressive laws but their actual implementations are just restricted to the intellectual class of the society but it's made for the whole country.
Even if such laws were made the status will remain like those of the laws made to make society gender-neutral so the matter of concern for me is to at least awaken the citizens of the country regarding that and also convince them that no one is superior in such relationships. it's the sense of superiority out of which these things were done.
Apart from this government must ensure that there remains no misuse of this law by any of the two spouses, and in India, plaintiffs (one who complained, whose rights were exploited) have to prove that the allegations against respondents are true and it is hard to have any such proof of such acts. Any marital rape without violence cannot be proved in court with that ease.
